ABOUT

Our Mission

We exist to make, mold and move disciples for God's Kingdom.

Our Camp

More than 45 years ago, John Martin envisioned a camp that would serve his local community by providing a fun and enriching summer day camp program for kids. He found 5 cottage lots on Conestogo Lake and with the help of some volunteers they cleared the land and swampy area to start Conestoga Bible Camp (CBC). In the summer of 1972 the first day camp children came to CBC to enjoy a fun camp experience and to hear the good news of Jesus! More than 40 years later we continue to share the vision!

We are now a registered Canadian Charity, running  four 2-week sessions of day camp and an overnight youth camp each summer. We facilitate many church and small group retreats during during the Fall, Winter and Spring, and have also begun a short-term discipleship training program for young adults. Over the summer, we serve more than 1100 campers and staff, and minister to many more people throughout the rest of the year, impacting each of their families, churches and communities with the good news of the gospel!

What We Believe

God is Love. He is holy, almighty, sovereign, perfect, creator of all things, one God existing forever in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

In the Lord Jesus Christ, truly God and truly man, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a perfect sacrifice for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead. He ascended into heaven, was exalted by the Father and now intercedes for us.

The Spirit came to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, convict the world of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, and lives in all Christians.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, which is entirely trustworthy and without error in the original writings. It is the complete revelation of God's will for the salvation of mankind and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and conduct.

That all humans are created in the image and likeness of God, have sinned and are guilty before a holy God. All people are born in sin, but can be declared righteous before God by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and be reborn by the Holy Spirit.

In the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the saved to eternal life and the lost to damnation.

In water baptism as an outward expression of a believer's identification with Christ and commitment to follow Him.

The true Church, those who have been reconciled and saved by God’s grace, is a living spiritual body of which Christ is the Head.
