2024 Registration Fee Changes

Setting camp registration fees is a challenge. Many of our expenses have risen much more than the prevailing rates of inflation. We try hard to manage our costs while still providing a safe, thoroughly enjoyable and life-changing experience. The true cost per camper depends on expenses we can not always predict and the number of registrations we receive. Our best estimate is $850 per session.

In 2023, we needed to raise $250,000 in addition to registration fees to cover operating costs. When costs are subsidized, other individuals make up the difference with offerings to support camp. We are taking a slightly different approach this year, hoping that more families will be able to pay the full cost of camp so that more of the generous donations of the friends of Conestoga Bible Camp can be dedicated to facility renewal and critical projects such as the replacement of the septic system.

We are offering four different registrations options in consideration of the very real challenges that our families are facing:

A. $850 per camper – this price represents the full cost of a session at camp.

B. $765 per camper – this price represents 90% of the full cost of a camp and relies on donors to make up the 10% subsidy.

C. $680 per camper – this is 80% of the cost per camper, with a 20% subsidy from supportive donors.

D. Greater than 20% – we hope to make it possible for as many children as possible to experience Conestoga Bible Camp and have long-provided special arrangements to help those with greater need. Contact us to determine an alternate payment amount.

We have discontinued all other discounts. Each family can select from these options on a per child basis.

Example 1: I can choose to pay the full price for my children.

Example 2: I can choose to pay full price for Child 1, a 10% discount on Child 2, and a 20% discount for Child 3 and 4.

Example 3: I can contact CBC to arrange a price that fits our budget this year.

Example 4: I can pay the full camp fees and can make an additional donation to help other children to have the same camp experience.

We are also trying to make the commitment to paying for Camp registration easier. This year you can choose one of 4 different payment options:

1. Pay by cheque/cash: you can choose to pay by cheque at registration, and then mail a cheque to camp or e-Transfer camp. (director@conestogabiblecamp.org, please include a description with the e-Transfer).

2. Pay the deposit at registration, then pay the balance anytime before June 1.

3. Pay the deposit and then we will process the rest over four equal instalments (April 1, May 1, June 1, July 1) on your credit card.

4. Pay the full amount at time of registration.

Our desire is that every camper be able to come for a price that works and is fair for each family. We will continue to raise funds so that Conestoga Bible Camp can have a positive impact on the lives of as many campers as possible. We are so excited for the return of summer and truly believe it will be one of the best your kids have ever experienced!
