We followed Pilot Pete through his journey of becoming a Pilot. After he failed his pilot exam, Pete stole a plane and flew to Tanzina, where he crash landed!
After eating a few too many bananas, the Jungle Master decided he must get Pilot Pete out of his JUNGLE!
But, the village people, and a friendly Rhino helped Pete survive in the jungle, and protected him from the jungle master.
Eventually, the village people, and a group of circus performers, helped Pete fix his plane, and fly back to Canada, where he finally got his Pilot licence!
We hope you remember, God is always good!
No matter what we face in life, He cares for us.
Our theme this summer was “Jungle Run; When life is wild, God is good!”
We learned many different stories in the Bible that remind us of how God is good in every circumstance. In the story of the prodigal son, even when the son leaves and spends all of his money, he is welcomed back home by his father and loved unconditionally.
We learned about how Jesus came to earth and lived as a human. He died for us so we can experience the fullness of life with God. Jesus invites us into a relationship with Him, because He loves and cares for all people on earth!
Want to return again next summer?
Campers born in 2019 - 2012 can return as day camp campers for summer 2026.
Campers born in 2011 can return for youth camp, a week of overnight camp at the end of the summer.
Camper fees in 2026 will be lowered, stay tuned for more information! Camper registration will open January 26th.
Campers born 2011 can apply to be Leaders in Training (first year staff at CBC). Applications are open from January 1st - February 15th!
