Junior Variety (JR)
In JV, each day is a different adventure! After two weeks campers will have made crafts, cooked food at a campfire, completed an obstacle course and much more! Swimming Lessons (JR, SR, TNT) We teach the Lifesaving Society swim program to campers of all ages. It is a fun place to improve skills and level-up! Archery (SR, TNT) Campers will learn how to string a bow, shoot an arrow and maybe even hit a bulls-eye. No experience required! Art Studio (SR, TNT) Studio is an opportunity for campers to create their own masterpieces in art! Counsellors will coach artists of all skills in using pencils, paints and other media. Canoes (SR, TNT) Learn how to paddle, portage and un-tip canoes! Campers will also play games, compete in races and go on an excursion at the end of the week. |
Comic Cartoon Creation (SR, TNT)
The very unique field of comics and cartoons - the creation process of characters and story lines. In a comic book, comic strip, or illustrated book, campers will learn techniques for telling stories visually! Crafts (SR, TNT) Campers will make a craft according to the camp theme. Past examples include bags/wallets, stationery and picture frames. Dance (SR, TNT) Counsellors will lead campers through a choreographed dance routine. No experience necessary! Drama (SR, TNT) Through a series of games and activities, campers will learn skills like blocking, projection and improv! Fishing (SR, TNT) Learn about the types of fish in GRCA waters, and how to catch them! |
Guitar (SR, TNT)
Learn beginner guitar techniques and chords, and jam with your counsellors! Kayaks (TNT) Learn to paddle, tip and play games in kayaks. Outdoor Cooking (SR, TNT) Campers will learn how to start a campfire. Each day, they will prepare a different snack, cook it and eat it! Sports (SR, TNT) A chance to learn a new sport, or play a favourite one! Sports include soccer, baseball, football, frisbee and more! Survival Skills (TNT) Learn to make shelters, tie knots and everything else you need to know to survive in the wilderness (well... almost everything.) Wood Crafts (SR, TNT) Campers will build a craft out of wood and/or other materials. |
