WHAT IS BASE CAMP?
It is a 6-week bible school that provides young adults foundational faith and life training for following Jesus. Student ages range from 18-25, have completed high school and may be in/after College or University, working in a job or career. Our instructors, experienced men and women of faith, interact intimately with you as you explore topics that are near to their hearts. It is a non-denominational exploration of Christian faith and practical topics for today's cultural moment.
Conestoga Bible Camp's (CBC) Base Camp is inspired by the biblical examples of Naomi & Ruth, Elijah & Elisha, Paul & Timothy and more! These older mentors spent time living life with these younger followers. They talked, studied and traveled together, lived and ate together, mourned and suffered together. They built into these younger lives the foundations that they could return to over and over again to refresh, recharge and reencounter the life ahead of them.

WHY IS BASE CAMP FOR YOU?
When adventurers head out to climb a mountain or hike a trail they prepare 'base camps' for their return. These camps are places to return to and re-equip supplies and health, re-establish their goals, and to prepare for the next journey ahead.
By attending Base Camp at CBC, you will retreat (i.e. spending time away from outside influences so that you can focus on God) to allow you time in your relationship with Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to transform you through the renewing of your mind. This time will give you the opportunity to also re-equip yourself with base truths, separate from the culture we are surrounded with. You can reflect on what you have experienced in your life. (How was the last adventure and were your prepared for the challenges you faced? What is needed for the next adventure?)
Our hope is that together we can help you set a foundation for the adventures that lie ahead. Our hope is that, through Base Camp, you will establish your own base camp for your faith through instruction, study and fellowship,

What are people saying |
" The timing is perfect for young adults in all stages of life...coming out of a semester of University or coming off of work Timothy Training is a great way to be challenged spiritually, in addition to being refreshed mentally and physically. Freshly graduated from College, I had a chance to go deeper in my faith and to be challenged with what I believed - helping to solidify my faith while also giving me the opportunity to be challenged on things that I never thought about before."
